Lucy!

This little ham is all over the place these days!!! The big kids are still learning they need to keep the floor free of their little toys so she can be on the floor and free to roam about. With Christmas decorations put away she has been happily exploring the floor. Earlier this week she discovered the stairs but thankfully seems to have forgotten about them, she also hasn't discovered the down stairs bathroom where the kitty food lives.Very thankful she avoids that side of the house!
She is really into pulling herself up on things and slowly cruising around the furniture. However she hasn't figured out how to get down when she is tired of standing. She either lets go completely and fall straight back like a board or stand there slowly falling into a split. Both methods result in lots of frustration and tears.
We have also shunned all baby like foods. She wants to eat what we eat and what she see's her siblings have. Thankfully the puffs look like little cereals so those are still okay. She loves scrambled eggs, rice and butternut squash. Some other favorites have been grilled cheese, spaghetti, cheese tortellini, and roasted potatoes.
She is also a big night owl so she really lets her silly out after the big kids go to bed. She has this happy little squeal she lets out when she's really pleased with herself. Last night I heard this and turned around to see she had positioned herself under the dining room table, right smack in the middle of it! The smile on her face made me laugh out loud which in turn made her laugh and giggle!

You can slow down now Lucy!!!!
