Long Overdue Updates!!!!
I'm not sleepy...
Sammy has decided that she wants to stay up and hang out with mommy and daddy all day. She thinks she can take only one nap a day, but then she just passes out from lack of energy. we are working very hard on finding new ways to get her to nap, which usually winds up with someone napping with her on the couch. below is a picture of Samantha after she finished her bottle, I think she was planning on crawling over the boppy to her toys. Hmn, this is a nice soft place , I think I'll....Zzzzzzzzzzzz.
No one to help me...
Samantha loves to play with her friend, mostly because he chooses a lot of the toys they play with. When her friend wasn't there she took matters into her own hands. Tim watched as Sammy turned a box over (!) to use as a step to get to a bigger box filled with toys. He managed to capture a picture of her in the act. I'm impressed at her ability to climb, she did this pretty quickly. Amazing problem solving Sammy!
Easter Fun!
Samantha loved going through the Easter basket! We decided to have one Easter basket for the whole family so there was lots to pull out. Sammy was mostly interested in the candy as you can see in the picture below. She had a lamb and a flower but what was in the fun colored wrapper? She loved making the crinkle noise with the candy and even tried to taste the wrapper. It was pretty cute. She knew it was something that went in the mouth. Later in the day she enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa over. Uncle John, Katie and Logan were lots of fun too. Grandma and Grandpa brought some fun Easter eggs to play with - they talked! Samantha loved her Easter dinner, she even had two plates! She was very tired at the end of the day and had a good night's sleep!
Jumper Fun
We bought a jumper for Samantha so she would have something to do at Katie and Logan's house. But she didn't quite figure it out until we hooked it up at home. Once she did though, it was non-stop. She just loved jumping and jumping and swinging back and forth in her jumper. Her favorite jumping music is Jim Croce, especially "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown." One night she jumped herself to sleep.
