Samantha's 2nd Birthday!!!

Samantha celebrated her Second birthday with friends and family!

We had a great time on May 7th celebrating Samantha Rose!!! She turned two on May 10th, I can't believe my baby is TWO!!!!! I can't imagine life with out her and she makes our days much more entertaining. On the day of her party she was hamming it up good. We got lucky that She was willing to take a good nap for us so we could clean and decorate the house. We had just a few things but I still had some errands to run...just the important things like cake and balloons!
When she woke up from her nap the first thing she noticed was the banister had been decorated. She looked stary eyed at it and said "ooh" as she walked into the living room she immediately noticed her happy Birthday banner. I loved how she just pointed to it and said "ook, ook" ( look) she knew at this point something fun was about to happen. So we decided to take her outside so she could see the balloons in front of the house. She loved her balloons and even noticed the frog on her big balloon. Next we showed her the pinata, it was a lady bug to go with the them on her invitation. She loved it!!!! So now that we had her good and excited it was time to get all the food out and start greeting our guests.
Samantha had lots of fun playing with her friends , eating food, and enjoyed her special day as seen in the pictures below!!!

Popcorn was her special treat, she loves the stuff so we popped up a whole bunch. This is her sharing some with our friend Robert, or I should say him sharing some. btw if you look next to the arm of the couch you can see her stashing some away for later... this is where she was putting the popcorn she was taking from Robert. such a silly kid!

Her awesome lady bug cupcake cake. This was the first time I haven't made a cake in a long time but I have to say it was nice to let someone else do the work. I thought they did a cute job and I like how they used the extra cupcked and made a "2" it did make it look like a twenty though. But we all enjoyed it!!

Here is Samantha enjoying her cupcake! She had the black frosting everywhere, by the time she was done it looked like she had a beard. it was pretty funny to watch her make a mess of herself!

Best Buds! She was sooo happy to have her friend Chase at her party. He came a bit later but she still had a blast with him...notice she was still at the popcorn. I'm pretty sure both Chase and Sammy thought this junk food buffet in front of them was pretty awesome! my couch on the other hand not so much, it needed some serious vacuuming after the party!
