Mommy's been slackling!
It has occurred to me that it's been over one month since I've last posted. May was a very busy month! Mothers day, birthdays, and moving! After Samantha's birthday bash I began to pack all of our belongings into boxes hoping to be more prepared for our move. Last time we moved was right when Sammy's was released from the hospital so we had nothing done, I wanted to avoid this!
So with the help of our friends we got moved into our new town home in two days! We are so excited to be out of the old place and have lots more room to fill our stuff with. Samantha seems to enjoy having her own space and loves to hang out and play in her room.
It's also been a lot of fun watching Chase and Samantha play in all this new space. They have tons more room to explore and spread out the toys. We even got them a pool for the hot summer days. We are lucky to live near other kids who play out front daily. We love to go watch the big kids ride their bikes and scooters up and down the side walk. Chase tries to join in on the fun with his walker and Sammy loves to crawl after them. The older kids are very polite and watchful over the two little ones. They are careful not to whiz past them and scare them.
We are also enjoying after dinner walks to the shopping center just up the road. Sammy has gotten very used to going on these and will go to the door and holler at us to get going. She's become very clear in what she wants from us. And she's good at letting us know just what she wants to do. Some nights she'll just crawl into her car seat for a car ride and other nights its pulling at the door to go for a walk in her stroller. I think she's trained us very well!
