Sick Baby

Over the weekend Samantha has developed her first bad cold. Whata started as really bad teething has become a fersome cold thats been keeping us all up at night. Poor Samantha has been tring really hard to breathe through her nose but she's all cloged up. She has also developed a cough from her sinuses draining. So when she's not coughing she's whiney and talkative as if saying "please make it go away!" It's breaking heart.

After calling the on call nurse tonight we went out and purchased anew cool air humidifier for her room, saline solution , and pedialite. We had a doctors appointment scheduled for tomorrow so they did not feel it necessary for us to bring her in unless her temp got higher over night. She HATED the saline nose pray but it cleared her right up and the pedialite was a big hit. She drank it down and kept it down. She had been having a hard time with her milk due to the fact that it made her cough much worse and added to the mucus. So now she is sleeping soundly in her bed.

Here's to hoping she sleeps well tongiht and starts felling beter!
