Samantha's birthday BBQ

Samantha had a great time at her birthday party! We had a cookout with all our friends, and Sammy loved seeing everyone who came. We were lucky to have lots of helping hands to make the day go smoothly.we had friends that helped grill the burgers and take pictures so we could enjoy helping Sammy celebrate! One of our good friends from the Abbey managed to get Sammy down to a nap before her party started and it was a good thing too because we had lots of fun things to do. She really enjoyed getting messy with her cake. At first she wasn't sure why everyone was standing around watching her and making lots of noise every time she touched the cake. After some good hand fulls of cake she started going for just the icing. Her friend Miriam even joined in one the fun of getting messy with cake and the two had even more fun in the bath tub splashing and washing the sticky icing off!
